A Backyard Made for the Way You Use It
DFW Fence Pro installs residential artificial turf with the surface, site preparation, drainage and surrounding outdoor features planned together.
Give everyday gathering areas a consistent surface. Choose a feel and appearance suited to walking, lounging and the way your household uses the yard.
Plan rinse access, drainage and routine cleaning together. Think about where dogs enter the house and how you will reach the area with a hose.
Explore a dedicated practice space with contours and cups. Discuss your preferred putting experience, surrounding fringe and transitions before choosing the final layout.
Create space for casual games and activity. Ordinary landscape turf is not protective playground surfacing; elevated equipment needs a separately designed protective system.
A quiet corner for putting and a busy dog run place different demands on a surface. Discuss traffic, feel underfoot, sun exposure and cleaning habits before selecting turf. Bring a rough sketch showing furniture, gates, planting beds and the areas you want to keep natural. A useful plan leaves room to move between these spaces rather than filling every available corner.
Ground preparation starts with reviewing existing materials, removal needs and site access. Grade, base preparation and drainage need attention before the turf goes down. Turf does not magically fix standing water or an unsuitable grade. Review where water currently travels and how the proposed area meets patios, paths and neighboring surfaces. Edging, seams and transitions help define a practical finished layout. Existing irrigation also deserves review so watering for retained plants and access to components remain part of the plan.
Share how you use the yard, who uses it and which areas need a different surface.
Discuss access, existing ground, drainage, irrigation and turf options suited to the activity.
Agree on preparation, edging, transitions, turf and any putting or pet-area features.
Review the completed work and the cleaning, grooming and ongoing attention your surface needs.
Area, existing-material removal, grading and base work, drainage, edging, turf selection and specialty features all affect the estimate. Include narrow access routes, nearby planting and any fence or patio work in the conversation. A putting green with cups and contours has different planning needs from a simple open lawn replacement. Confirm what is included before work begins.
Pet areas can be planned for dogs, with rinse access and drainage considered from the start. Pick up waste promptly and follow the selected surface’s cleaning guidance. Turf is not automatically odor-free.
Yes. Discuss the green alongside gates, fencing, paths and outdoor living areas so access and transitions work together.
Not by itself. Existing water movement and grade need review, and drainage work must be part of the agreed scope where needed.
Turf removes mowing in the covered area, but it is not maintenance-free. Remove debris, clean spills and pet waste, and review rinsing and grooming guidance for the chosen surface.
Ordinary landscape turf should not be assumed to protect against falls. Equipment needs a designed protective surfacing system appropriate to the equipment and layout.
